Lindsay Lohan may have gotten a harsh jail sentence early this week, but she does not plan on surrendering to the court’s orders without a fight. The hard-partying actress was slapped Tuesday with a 90-day jail sentence, as well as a 90-day stint in rehab by a California judge.However, mother Dina Lohan is now saying that Lindsay is looking to appeal the sentence with a new lawyer. Dina told celebrity news television show Entertainment Tonight that the family was not happy with the lawyer handling Lindsay’s case, Shawn Chapman Holley.
“She’s a fighter, and until the final result — we’re not giving up,” Dina Lohan told Entertainment Tonight in an interview to be broadcast on Friday.
Lohan said she’s trying to be positive, adding, “God willing it won’t happen at all.” If it weren’t for Lindsay’s celebrity, she said, she wouldn’t even be in this position. “That’s what saddens me the most,” Lohan told ET. “Everything’s taken a step further because of her celebrity….If she weren’t, she wouldn’t be in this position and it wouldn’t be so hard on her. It certainly wouldn’t be televised; I think that’s disgusting that they would do that to her.” While Lohan recognizes the poor judgment that led to Lindsay facing jail time, she said that the 24-year-old actress doesn’t need rehab.

Oh, poor little Lindsay, such a harsh sentence, boo hoo. If it were you or me it would have been a year and in the general jail population. What was it that Bobby Blake use to say on his TV show – “If you can’t do the time, then don’t do the crime”
No wonder Lindsay is so screwed up, her mom is an idiot! She got a harsh sentence because she is a celebrity? Are you kidding me, if she wasn’t a celebrity she would have received much worse!! She obviously needs rehab if she is doing the stupid shit that she has been doing! she’s 24 and looks 10 or 15 years older.. maybe this will straighten her out some
No wonder Lohan is so messed up – her mom’s a classic enabler. If not for LL’s “celebrity”, she’d have been in jail a long time ago. The judge gave her plenty of warning/opportunity to cooperate and LL basically thumbed her nose at the judge/court. And now she’s surprised she’s going to jail – this is life little girl – grow up and face reality. And another thing “mom” – if your daughter doesn’t need rehab, no one does (ie she needs it bad).
Actually, if Lindsay weren’t celebrity, the judge would have locked her up earlier. The fact that this has taken 2 years is proof alone that clearly she has been given enough leniency! Suck it up and take the jail time already.. you’ve done enough to afford 90 days in jail.. and besides, maybe you’ll learn something valuable in rehab. You know that most people get much harsher penalties for driving under the influence, right? Like losing their license.. or longer jail sentences.. stop being a baby and grow up.

Lindsay and her mom need to get real.. If she were not a celebrity, it would never have gone this far.. She would have been in jail long before now.. Have they never heard the old saying “you play – you pay”?
did it ever occur to the stupid mother that her slutty daughter is guilty of a crime and should be held accountable she has had chance after chance and blown them off she is right about one thing she has been treated differently because of her celebrity an ordinary person would have already went to jail
If this stupid twit doesn’t think she has a problem, she is swimming in denial. The worst part about it is that her mother i a total enabler. Lindsay should do time in jail just like the average joe would have to do. She has been non-compliant with court orders, while flaunting it in the judges face the whole time. Her mother should go to peoples families who’s loved ones have been killed or severely injured by impaired drivers and see how they feel about her condoning her daughters actions. I had to pay $270 for being in a dog park in redneck AZ 8 minutes after closing and I know if i don’t pay that fine by a certain date I will have a warrant out for my arrest, and what I did is nothing compared to this bimbo
Reading this stupid ass’ interview you can see exactly why her daughter has the problems she has. I feel sorry for Lindsay. She basically has had to parent herself because her “mother” is has spent all this time trying to act like her best friend.
