Negligent parents from Minneapolis leave baby alone in the car in 110 degrees.

A six-week old baby was left alone in the car by his parents Tuesday, when the temperatures were soaring. The outside temperature was 94 however, temperature inside the car rose up to 110 degrees. The baby was lucky to have escaped alive.

His parents, Rosa Dejesus Perez-Siguencia, 35 and Angel Rigoberto Garcia-Tapia, 34, had left their baby in the car while they shopped inside a NorthEast Minneapolis CVS. They’d spent around 20 minutes in the pharmacy when someone noticed the baby howling and alerted police. The baby was taken to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. Though it seems he has made a speedy recovery, if there has been any permanent damage done, it won’t make an appearance yet. The baby was sent to child protective services.

His parents were arrested by cops and booked for child neglect. They seem to regret their actions and it is likely they’ll be reunited with their kid. They were booked into Hennepin County Jail.

Alarmingly, 25 kids across the country have died just from being left in hot cars, said a researcher at San Francisco State University.

Negligence on the part of parents is unacceptable. It is wrong and should not happen at any cost.
